FelicityForFulton.com is the official campaign site for Dejia ‘Felicity’ Swindell, candidate for Fulton County Commissioner, District 5. This campaign is centered on putting people first in every decision, expanding resources for small businesses, ensuring seniors can age with dignity, creating safe and healthy communities for families and youth, and building a transparent, responsive government that truly listens, connects, and acts.
KEY ISSUES
Education
I am committed to supporting strong schools by ensuring equitable county funding, partnering with educators, and expanding after-school and workforce readiness programs that give our students the resources they need to thrive.
Housing
I will fight for fair housing policies, expand county partnerships that protect working families and seniors from displacement, and direct resources toward homelessness prevention and support programs.
Healthcare
I will prioritize funding for community clinics, expand access to mental health and preventative care, and work to close disparities by strengthening county health programs that serve underserved neighborhoods.
Diversity
Our diversity is our strength. I will champion inclusive county hiring, fair contracting opportunities, and policies that ensure all voices in our community are represented and respected.
Environment
I will protect Fulton County’s natural resources by supporting sustainable development, safeguarding our parks and green spaces, and investing in clean energy practices that make our communities healthier.
